I am a dance artist and somatic movement facilitator. My creative practice explores the unfolding experience of self in relation to others through movements in performative, therapeutic, and research contexts.

I have a visual art background with painting and cermaics. For more than 7 years, I have taught children and young adults (ages 3-18) in schools and art studios in the U.S., Taiwan, and Estonia.

Since my years of visual art, for personal nourishment, I trained in Qi Gong from master Wu Chun-Lin in Taiwan. Through this, I developed a deep passion for contemplative movement practice. It eventually led me to the path of dance and somatic movement. I trained in modern dance at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, and later in 2019, received an M.A. in Creative Practice in Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where somatic practice became a resource for my dance-making. In New York, I have co-created dance pieces (City Walk and Wanderings) with fellow artists Mayu Shirai and Jia-Wei Zhu. In London, I presented my M.A. thesis through a performance (Gestures of Offering) — an embodied research of movement gestures through relational presence.

As an artist crossing the fields of somatic movement, dance, visual art and contemplative practice, I have collaborated with philosophers, researchers and contemplative practitioners from the Buddhist tradition to offer creative workshops (E.S.R.I., Mind and Life Europe). With designer-researcher, Kristi Kuusk, we presented our transdisciplinary project (Moving Awareables) in Estonia and Sweden.

Since 2016, I have been offering Qi Gong lessons, workshops, and retreats for adults in Estonia. Additionally, I offer Seitai Shiatsu massage and somative movement therapy (following the system of Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy) through one-to-one sessions.
